Installation of Red Hat Linux requires a boot floppy. There are two kinds of installations: from CD or from network (ftp or nfs). The installation boot floppy is produced by copying a floppy disk image file to a floppy disk. The two image files are: boot.img (CD) and bootnet.img (network - ftp or nfs).
